2019 Effigies Over Time Uncirculated 6 Coin Set
Australian coins traditionally feature a portrait or 'effigy' of the reigning monarch on their obverse. Since the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 there have been six individual effigies on Australia's coins.
The Royal Australian Mint has released a special 6 coin mint set featuring each of the effigies:
- 5c - Mary Gillick (1953-1964)
- 10c - Arnold Machin (1966-1984)
- 20c - Raphael Maklouf (1985-1998)
- 50c - Ian Rank-Broadley (1998-2019)
- $1 - Vladimir Gottwald (2000 & 2010)
- $2 - Jody Clark (2019)
